Parterning with humanitarian organization Project Amazonas, Mr. GarcÃa conducted anthropological research on attitudes toward modern and traditional medicine, Ms. Reyes and Mr. Castillo contributed translation services to Young Nurses Take Action, and Dr. Wooding pursued his genetics research on the highly toxic yet widely consumed food plant, cassava.
